Continuing this new series of Photo Adventures by our friend, well known photographer Dale Fazendin.
Dale just completed a wonderful and comprehensive set of photos of and from Palace Palace by the Sea, featuring some of the highlights of La Punta, including A sunset cruise, tennis, nearby golf, beautiful flora, the amazing food served by Pilar, our Palace chef and the incredible views from everywhere!
This blog features the La Punta Private Beach and Beach club. With your stay at Palace by the Sea you have access to this very special spot – rated one of the world’s 10 best private beaches by Conde Naste. The beach offers palapas and ample loungers, tables and beach chairs. The swimming area is clear and marked on all sides with rope and buoys. Great snorkeling awaits adjacent to the swimming area. Offering gorgeous views of Manzanillo Bay and the Pacific, it’s beauty and serenity is unequaled.
While swimming there in February a mother and baby gray whale joined us in the bay and gave us quite a show. (Sonja took a picture, but the whale is too far away to be identified in the photo.) The whales were there for about 30 minutes and it was quite a thrill.
The beach club includes a large pool and jacuzzil with fantastic views – for kids and adults who prefer a pool to the ocean. There are bathrooms and showers at every level. The club house has couches, tables and chairs. Palace by the Sea guests can request our fantastic chef Pilar prepare them a delicious picnic, which our staff will come and serve you at the beach club!
